About Coach

I fell in love with Empower the moment I started attending LIFT classes. I didn’t realize how much I needed the motivation and accountability of others until I experienced it firsthand. The energy, the women, the support—it all just clicked. When Niki mentioned she needed a few subs, I thought, "Why not?" I’ve been an athlete my whole life and have coached volleyball, basketball, and soccer. I also regularly mentor students who shadow or intern with me at work, so stepping into a coaching role felt natural. After a few months of subbing, I was offered a weekly LIFT class—and I couldn’t say no. My coaching style is upbeat and slightly competitive. I aim to create a fun, encouraging space where women feel empowered to challenge themselves a little more than they thought possible. I’m always bringing the best music with me, mixing up the playlist every class to keep things fresh and high-energy. Helping women feel strong and confident is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do. I’m quick to offer praise when I see great form or effort, and I’m constantly nudging clients to go a little heavier or push a little further. It’s so rewarding to help someone master a new movement and see it “click” after a small correction. Strength training is my personal favorite. After a college volleyball injury, I discovered how essential lifting is—not just for muscle growth, but for injury prevention and long-term joint health. Building strength around my knee has helped me stay active and pain-free in a way I didn’t think was possible. Outside of the gym, I’ve been scuba certified for 15 years, and one of my big goals is to swim across Lewis & Clark Lake. If I had to choose one workout for life, it’d be volleyball—indoor or sand. Nothing beats the full-body challenge and the pure joy I get from playing.
